fa بررسی ارتباط انتصاب به مسئولیت‌های مدیریتی دانشگاهی با الگوی انتشار مقالات علمی اعضای هیئت علمی: مطالعه‌ای در سه دانشگاه علوم پزشکی ایران Examining the Association Between Academic Administrative Appointments and Scientific Publication Patterns Among Faculty Members: A Study at Three Iranian Medical Universities اخلاق پزشکی پژوهشي Research چکیده زمینه: افزایش فشارهای مبتنی بر تولید علمی و نقش مسئولیت‌های مدیریتی در دانشگاه‌ها، پرسش‌هایی را درباره تأثیر جایگاه سازمانی بر الگوی انتشار مقالات علمی اعضای هیئت علمی ایجاد کرده است. اگرچه برخی مطالعات بین‌المللی به ارتباط میان قدرت سازمانی و بهره‌وری پژوهشی اشاره کرده‌اند، شواهد کافی در دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی ایران وجود ندارد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی ارتباط انتصاب به مسئولیت‌های مدیریتی با تغییرات الگوی انتشار مقالات علمی اعضای هیئت علمی انجام شد. روش کار: این مطالعه توصیفی ـ تحلیلی مقطعی به روش سرشماری انجام شد. جامعه پژوهش شامل 62 عضو هیئت علمی سه دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شمال ایران بود که طی سال‌های 1397 تا 1401 به مسئولیت مدیریتی منصوب شدند. اطلاعات مقالات از پایگاه‌های Scopus، PubMed، Web of Science ،Google Scholar و سامانه نوپا استخراج شد. تعداد مقالات کلی، مرتبط و غیرمرتبط با رشته تخصصی، پیش و پس از انتصاب مدیریتی مقایسه شد. یافته‌ها: یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که در میانگین، تعداد مقالات در زمان مسئولیت نسبت به تعداد مقالات پیش از مسئولیت افزایش یافته است. همچنین، مقایسه تعداد مقالات مرتبط و غیرمرتبط در زمان مسئولیت و پیش از مسئولیت نشان می‌دهد که تعداد مقالات غیرمرتبط نسبت به تعداد مقالات مرتبط افزایش یافته است. نتیجه‌گیری: یافته‌ها نشان داد انتصاب به مسئولیت‌های مدیریتی با افزایش تعداد مقالات، به‌ویژه مقالات غیرمرتبط با حوزه تخصصی همراه بود. این یافته می‌تواند ناشی از گسترش همکاری‌های بین‌رشته‌ای، تغییر شبکه‌های همکاری علمی یا افزایش دسترسی به منابع پژوهشی باشد. با این حال، برای تبیین سازوکارهای این ارتباط، انجام مطالعات تحلیلی و آینده‌نگر ضروری است. Abstract Background: The increasing emphasis on scientific productivity and the growing role of administrative responsibilities in universities have raised important questions regarding the impact of organizational positions on the publication patterns of academic faculty members. Although several international studies have suggested a relationship between organizational authority and research productivity, sufficient evidence in Iranian medical universities remains limited. Therefore, the present study was conducted to examine the association between appointment to administrative positions and changes in the scientific publication patterns of faculty members. Methods: This descriptive–analytical cross-sectional study was conducted using a census approach. The study population consisted of 62 faculty members from three medical universities in northern Iran who were appointed to administrative positions between 2018 and 2022. Publication data were extracted from Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and the Iranian Medical Research Information System (Nopa). The total number of publications, as well as specialty-related and non-specialty-related articles, were compared before and after administrative appointment. Results: The findings of the research show that, on average, the number of articles after responsibility has increased compared to the number of articles before responsibility. Also, comparing the number of related and unrelated articles before and after the responsibility shows that the number of unrelated articles has increased compared to the number of related articles. Conclusion: The findings indicated that appointment to administrative positions was associated with an increase in the number of publications, particularly articles unrelated to the faculty members’ area of specialization. This finding may be attributed to the expansion of interdisciplinary collaborations, changes in scientific collaboration networks, or increased access to research resources.
