Background: Medical science has witnessed countless innovations and innovations in recent years. In addition to this progress, law, as a protector of human dignity, has had a significant impact on the health of the society and achieving the desired result. This high growth requires progressive laws and regulations, and in other words, this is possible with the realization of the development of medical rights. Therefore, considering the importance of development in the medical law system, the main goal of this research is to investigate and analyze the concept of the development of medical law, its components and effects.
Methods: This research is of a theoretical type and the research method is descriptive and analytical with a legal-medical approach. Information has been collected in a library manner and by referring to legal documents, books and articles.
Results: The findings of this research show that in the development of medical law, three structural, substantive and value elements play a role, and the development of the medical law system results from the connection of the three mentioned elements with each other.
Ethical considerations: In all stages of writing the present research, while respecting the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness have been observed.
Conclusion: The results of the investigation indicate that the development of the medical law system in Iran’s legal system requires the development of the substantive components through the approval of a comprehensive and coherent law and the strengthening of the judicial procedure of the courts, and in the value dimension by consolidating the principles of medical law and in the structural field through the expansion Medical disciplinary boards are in the geographical and specialization area of medical courts.
