Introduction: This research is planning to observe the influence of sense of social security on doctors’ social health in Tehran. Therefore, it seems that there is a meaningful relationship among doctors’ social health as a dependent variable, and sense of social security of doctors as the main independent variable. Also, piety, life satisfaction, social morality and assessing by others as the second independent variables.

Methods: The conceptual framework which is used here is mainly based on Keyes theory. The research methodology has been prepared with questionnaires, random sampling was taken from physicians population of Tehran with a sample size of 410 people. For analyzing the data,statistical method and Spss software have been used.

Results: The finding suggests that the sense of social security has a affected social health. In other words, increasing the sense of social security, raises doctors’ social health as well. In addition, there is a meaningful relationship among the second independent factors, piety, life satisfaction, social morality and assessing yourself by others.

Conclusion: variables of life satisfaction, and sense of social security have prominent role in promoting public health. Police as one of the institutions whose job is providing security in society, should expand it’s communication with the citizens, hearing the needs and demands of the people in the various sectors of society.
